i went to the hospital today for a skin cancer screening and a medical surveillance qualifications card. i don’t think i can ever work at a hospital. ..at least, the wing where all the sick, injured, and elder people are.. that side has grief seeping through its ventilation systems.
i also went to the power of attorney’s office today. i ran into one of my mom’s friends. she was getting all the money from her husband’s life insurance. it was weird. i remember going to her house when i was younger. she was a stern angry lady back then. this morning she said “I feel bed for George, he never really got to enjoy his life. We never got to live in a big house in the Philippines like we promised.” when she stood in front of me, she was so gentle and afraid. but softened by her husband’s death. something about it all just shook me to the bones.
i heard some bad news today.. oh well.
